A Place at the Table
The Station Café is being built as a place where Tuxedo connects — a space shaped by community, conversation, and care.
As part of our vision, we have created A Place at the Table, a community furniture project inviting neighbors to contribute a single piece of seating, a chair or other seating piece, to the café.
Each accepted piece will bring its own character, history, and story, becoming part of the fabric of the space itself. From mismatched wing-back chairs to well-loved wooden chairs or upholstered stools, every piece helps tell the story of who we are together.
If you have a vintage or vintage-inspired chair or other seating piece you’d like to share, we invite you to submit a photo, dimensions, and a short note about its story. All pieces are reviewed to ensure they fit the café’s aesthetic and layout.
Because here, everyone deserves a place at the table!

If you are interested in donating a piece, email Christie at christie@tincanconfections.com with a photo and a short story of the piece, and we'll be in touch. Please allow 24 hours for a response.
